Connotations Excersize

Strength - this relates to the connotation because someone is winning an arm wrestle showing strength - our intention was getting a medium shot or a wide shot to show strength - we achieved this by getting the required medium shot and portraying strength - yes these angles and viewpoints work and portray strength.

Poverty - this relates to the connotations because in the photo we can see rubbish and someone with their head facing away from the camera this displays how they could be feeling; or how their life could be spiraling out of control - we also achieve this by getting a clear shot in a medium perspective with 50% object and 50% landscape; our intention was to get this exact shot and it portrays it perfectly.

we wanted to get a medium/wide shot for love as we wanted the person to be daydreaming and thinking about something that made them smile and we wanted to show they weren't talking to someone else, we also wanted the lighting to be fairly bright due to the happiness of the scene. This is perfect to how we wanted it portrayed and displays the feeling correctly.
